About

If you also grew up looking forward to Saturday mornings so you could turn on the TV and watch Dragon Ball, Saint Seiya, or Pokémon... you’ve come to the right place.

This is a space dedicated to those who spent their childhood and teenage years in the ’90s and early 2000s—a time when Manchete’s programming was sacred, Japanese anime like Changeman and Jiban dominated the afternoons, and Woody Woodpecker was still getting on Grandpa’s nerves.

Here you’ll find memories and stories about the cartoons we loved—from the Bugs Bunny gang to Disney and Hanna-Barbera classics—the movies that defined a generation, from Jurassic Park to The Terminator, the series that kept us glued to the TV, the songs that never leave our heads, and of course, the games that consumed hours of our lives on the 8-bit Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Game Boy, and PlayStation.

But it’s not just that. It’s also about playing in the streets, about the scent of a time that will never return—and that’s why it deserves to be remembered fondly.

Welcome. I bet you’ll remember a lot of things here. 😊

my mission

Bringing back memories, putting smiles on faces, and connecting people who lived through the same era—that generation that grew up with a Nintendo controller in hand, glued to the TV waiting for the next episode, and the street as their favorite playground.

Our mission is to be the gathering place for those who hold the ’90s and early 2000s close to their hearts. A place where every post is a trip down memory lane, where you read something and think, “Man, I lived through that too!”

We believe that nostalgia isn’t just longing—it’s identity. It’s proof that we share experiences that shaped us, and that this generation has a lot to celebrate and remember together.

If you’re part of this crew, this blog was made for you.

my vision

To be the largest and most welcoming online community for those nostalgic for the ’90s and early 2000s in Brazil—a space where every shared memory strengthens the sense of belonging and proves that this generation, even as it has grown up, has never forgotten where it came from.

We want anyone who comes here to feel like they’ve found their crew—that group of people who know exactly what it’s like to hear the Dragon Ball opening theme and feel their heart race, who remember the smell of the video rental store, the sound of the cartridge blowing, and those endless afternoons on the street until Mom called us in for dinner.

Who is behind all this?

I’m just one person—but a person with a head full of fond memories and a heart full of nostalgia.

I grew up during that incredible era, and I experienced it all firsthand: Saturday mornings glued to the TV, afternoons playing Nintendo and Super Nintendo, and endless games in the street. And one day I realized I needed to talk about it—not just for myself, but for everyone who lived through the same thing.

This blog is a solo project, created with love, without a team, without a corporate structure. Just me, the memories, and the desire to connect people who share the same story.

If you’ve made it this far, we’re already part of the same crew. 😊
